Steven Carpenter has a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences with a Minor in Zoology from Humboldt State University. With over 20 years of experience, Steven is currently working as a Wildlife Ecologist/Herpetologist at H. T. Harvey & Associates, where Steven surveys, monitors, and protects endangered Amphibians, Reptiles, and Fish in California. Prior to this, Steven worked at NASA Ames Research Center as a Biologist/Associate Engineer/Research Technician III, measuring rates of gross oxygenic photosynthesis. Additionally, Steven served as a Herpetologist at Humboldt State University, surveying for the spotted frog and recording over 300 new observations for their senior thesis.
