Eddie Young

Eddie Young currently serves as the Project Health Safety Environment Manager at H2 Green Steel, overseeing HSE, Security, and Emergency Response for the construction of the first Mega scale H2 Green Steel Plant since August 2022. Previously, Eddie held several positions including Group QHSE Manager at Western Bainoona Group and EHS Manager at Fives Solios - Aluminium, where responsibilities included managing HSE aspects for prominent projects such as ALBA Line 6 GTC and Potfeed Installation. With extensive experience in EHS roles across multiple companies including SNC Lavalin and WorleyParsons, Eddie has been instrumental in addressing HSE issues for various construction projects. Eddie holds a B-Tech in Fire and Safety Engineering and multiple certifications in Occupational Safety and Health, alongside a background in emergency medical assistance and incident management.
