Klas Nilsson

Klas Nilsson has extensive work experience in procurement and purchasing. Klas currently holds the position of Head of Strategic and Operational Procurement at H2 Green Steel since 2024. Prior to this, they worked at Scania Group for many years, where they held various roles including Regional Purchasing Manager, Purchasing Manager, Head of Strategy - Global Purchasing, Commodity Manager, Project Purchasing Manager, Production Manager, Sourcing Manager, and Management Trainee. Throughout their career, Nilsson demonstrated expertise in managing diverse teams, consolidating spend, negotiating contracts, and implementing sustainability initiatives.

Klas Nilsson completed their International Management Program at Stockholm School of Economics Executive Education from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering & Management from Linköping University, graduating between 1998 and 2004. Klas also briefly studied Business Administration and Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2002 and Business Administration and Finance at Hawaii Pacific University in 2001.
