Abdallah Zakaria is a highly experienced consulting engineer and scientist currently working at H2scan Corporation since March 2022, where Abdallah leads the search for new foundries to fabricate solid state hydrogen sensors. Previously, Abdallah served as Wafer Fab Process Engineering Manager at EMCORE Corporation from April 2019 to December 2022, overseeing a team responsible for the production and R&D of laser products. Abdallah also held the role of MOCVD Section Manager at EMCORE, demonstrating technical leadership in the development of semiconductor structures. Prior positions include Sr. Sensor Engineer at H2scan Corporation, Thin Films Section Leader at Mellanox Technologies, and Product Development Engineer at Spectrolab, among others. Abdallah holds a PhD in Materials Science, an MS in Chemical Engineering focused on Semiconductor Manufacturing, and a BS in Chemical Engineering, all from UCLA. Abdallah’s educational background is complemented by a French Baccalauréat in Sciences and Mathematics from Lycee International De Los Angeles.
