Michael Siem

Michael Siem has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Michael most recently worked as an Electrical Engineering Contractor at H3X Technologies starting from March 2023. Prior to that, they were employed at Xos Trucks as a Manager for Battery Management Systems from March 2022 to February 2023. Michael also held roles as a Battery Controls Engineer and Engineering Intern at Xos Trucks from November 2019 to February 2022 and July 2019 to October 2019, respectively.

Before working at Xos Trucks, Michael worked at Wisconsin Racing as a Team Principal from July 2018 to June 2019, an Electrical Systems Lead from July 2017 to June 2018, and a Controls Team Member from April 2016 to June 2017. Michael gained experience in the automotive industry as a Firmware Validation Intern at Tesla from May 2018 to August 2018 and as a Software Engineering Intern at Oshkosh Corporation from May 2017 to December 2017.

In addition, Michael has experience in computer support and technology roles. Michael worked as a Computer Support Analyst at University Health Services from May 2016 to April 2017 and as a Computer Lab Assistant at UW-Madison School of Social Work from October 2015 to May 2016. Michael also had a role as a Safety and Engineering Assistant at Rochester Public Utilities from May 2015 to August 2015.

Michael's earliest work experience was as a Grocery Clerk at Cub Foods from July 2012 to April 2015. Throughout their career, Michael has gained knowledge and skills in electrical engineering, battery management systems, firmware validation, software engineering, and computer support.

Michael Siem completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating in 2019. Prior to that, they attended Mayo High School from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained their High School diploma. In addition to their formal education, Michael also obtained the OSHA Construction 10-hour certification in May 2015.
