Duane Berdahl

Duane Berdahl is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the automation and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Software Engineer at Haas Automation, Inc. since September 2020, Duane focuses on writing system requirements and reverse engineering CNC control systems. Previously, Duane held the position of Software Development Manager at FreshRealm from December 2016 to February 2020, leading a team to develop a cloud-based application that significantly reduced software licensing costs. Duane also served as the Application Support Manager at FreshRealm, where operational support was provided for multiple food processing plants, enhancing efficiency and minimizing downtime. Earlier in the career at Haas Automation, Duane progressed through various roles, including Programming Manager and Software Engineer IV, contributing to pivotal projects like the Haas Intuitive Programming System. Duane holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California Lutheran University and an Associate of Applied Science in Electronics from DeVry Institute of Technology.
