Shalini Bansal

Shalini Bansal is a Machine Test Engineer 2 at Haas Automation, Inc. since June 2022, specializing in developing test plans and conducting automated and manual tests for CNC machine features and software validations. Previously, Shalini worked as a researcher at the University of California, focusing on the design and development of a robotic catheter for mitral valve repair, and gained experience in the medical device industry and technical research paper writing. Shalini’s early career includes a project internship at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, where analysis of machining parameters for aircraft engine components was performed, and a student membership at Visvesvaraya Technological University, where a human-powered vehicle chassis was designed for a competitive event. Shalini holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Riverside, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology.
