Haas Business School Association (HBSA)
Hayden McGowan is currently employed at Temple Coffee Roasters since March 2024 and has prior experience as a Legislative Intern for Assemblymember Cottie Petrie-Norris during the summer of 2023. As a student representative at Union Mine High School from September 2022 to May 2023, Hayden consulted with school administration and advocated for campus issues. Additionally, Hayden founded and presided over the UMHS Mental Health Club, focusing on raising awareness and improving student wellness. The establishment of a virtual science fair during the pandemic showcases Hayden's initiative, along with the leadership role in Sounding Board Marketing & Communications, providing translation services for health communication. Engagement in political activism is reflected in Hayden's canvassing for Assemblymember Ken Cooley's re-election campaign and participation in American Legion California Boys' State as a delegate. Educationally, Hayden is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of California, Berkeley, following a high school diploma from Union Mine High School.
