Tom Makowski Cscp

Tom Makowski, CSCP has extensive experience in strategic sourcing, materials management, and continuous improvement. Tom is currently the Director of Sourcing & Materials at Haas Door, where they oversee the sourcing process. Prior to this, Tom worked at Fortune Brands Home & Security as a Sr. Global Strategic Sourcing Manager, responsible for purchasing various commodities and developing sourcing strategies. Tom also held positions at Owens Corning as a Sr. Sourcing Leader and at Ply Gem as a Materials / Commodity Manager, Program/Project Manager, and Lean / Continuous Improvement Manager. Additionally, Tom worked at Cooper Standard as a Lean Facilitator, Industrial Engineer, and Six Sigma Black Belt, where they focused on process improvement and facility layout design.

Tom Makowski, CSCP has a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Management from The University of Toledo. Tom also holds an MBA in Organizational Leadership from The University of Findlay. In addition to their education, Tom has obtained certification as a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from APICS in December 2015. Tom has also completed the Strategic Supply Chain Leadership Program at Penn State University.
