Jose Diaz

Jose Diaz has over four decades of work experience in the banking industry. Jose started their career at THE BANK OF NEW YORK MELLON/BNY MEL LON, N.A as an Assistant Treasurer and worked there for 16 years. Jose then joined BankAtlantic as an Assistant to the Vice President - Store Operations Manager, where they managed teams and was responsible for system customization and operational procedures. In 2000, they joined First National Bank LI® as a Senior Vice President - Technology & Operations, overseeing various departments and leading initiatives such as system migration, vendor negotiations, and business continuity automation. In 2023, Jose will take on the role of Chief Innovation Officer at HAB Bank.
