Riaz Mirza

Riaz Mirza possesses extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving as the Manager of Underwriting for Commercial Real Estate at Habib American Bank since November 2016. In this role, Riaz leads the loan underwriting process for various commercial loan applications while supporting the bank's strategic lending goals across branches in the United States. Prior to this, Riaz worked as a Treasury Dealer at Alfalah Exchange Company from May 2012 to December 2015, focusing on maximizing returns and minimizing risks in currency management. Riaz started their career at Bank Alfalah Limited, where responsibilities included processing foreign exchange transactions and supporting the Money Market desk from October 2007 to April 2012. Riaz holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Banking & Finance and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing & Management from M. A. Jinnah University, Pakistan.
