Zarak Mooraj

Zarak Mooraj is a highly accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in treasury management and liquidity risk. Currently serving as the Head of Treasury at HBL BANK UK since July 2016, Zarak is responsible for ensuring compliance with PRA guidelines for liquidity positions across all branches. Prior to this role, Zarak held the position of Senior Manager (Director) of Consumer Treasury at NIB Bank Limited, where significant revenue growth was achieved, and previously excelled at Standard Chartered Bank, establishing a successful Consumer Treasury and achieving multiple revenue targets. Zarak’s earlier career includes roles in debt brokerage and money market transactions, combined with a strong educational background with an MBA in Finance from South Eastern University and an M.A. in International Relations from Karachi University.
