Melissa Jean Fernandes

Melissa Fernandes, FCCA, has extensive experience in the finance sector, currently serving as Deputy Manager Finance at Habib Canadian Bank since January 2021, where Melissa has also held the positions of Senior Finance Officer, Finance Officer, and Administration Assistant. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Analyst at HBL - Habib Bank Limited from December 2018 to February 2020 and various accounting roles at Dawn Media Group from August 2011 to December 2018. Melissa began their career in customer services at ACCA from February 2009 to August 2011 and briefly worked as a Telephone Operator at Unilever in December 2006. Educational qualifications include an ACCA degree in Finance obtained between 2010 and 2017, a B.Com in Commerce from Karachi University, and earlier studies in commerce and arts at Government College of Commerce and Economics and Convent of Jesus and Mary, respectively.
