Rajat Garg

Rajat Garg is the current director at Habib Canadian Bank. Prior to this, they worked at Saudi American Bank from October 2003 to May 2005, where they were the Cards Business Manager and was responsible for the overall P&L of the business. In 2004, they successfully grew earnings by 68% and made the company the largest credit card business in the Middle East. From June 2005 to March 2016, Garg worked at Citibank NA as the MD & EMEA Head of Retail Banking & Wealth Management. In this role, they were responsible for the overall P&L across products, channels, functions, client segments and geographies including Western Europe, Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa. Rajat focused on establishing a robust Governance framework and implementing a Regional Operating model. Garg also has experience as a Regional CFO, having worked in that role at Citibank NA from December 1989 to September 2003.

Rajat Garg graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Prior to that, they completed a B. Tech. in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Rajat also attended Mayo College, Ajmer.
