Joy Watson

Joy Watson has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Their most recent position was as a Clinical Lead at Habit Health, where they started in October 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Vocational Consultant at the same company from January 2023. Before joining Habit Health, Joy worked as a Pou Whakahaere Pokapu Hapori Community Hub Site Lead at Hutt City Council from April 2022 to January 2023. From May 2019 to April 2022, they were a Careers Advisor at WelTec and Whitireia. Prior to that, they held the role of Student Advisor at WelTec from June 2015 to May 2018. Joy also worked as a Tutor at Travel Careers and Training from February 2012 to September 2014, and as a Team Leader at Flight Centre Travel Group from 2008 to 2011.

Joy Watson earned a NZ Diploma in Career Development Level 6 with Distinction from Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT) from 2018 to 2020. In 2017, they studied Te Ara Reo Maori - Joy Timatanga Level 2 at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa. Earlier, from 1999 to 2001, they pursued Business/Commerce, General at the University of Otago. Joy Watson is also a Full Member of the CDANZ - Career Development Association of New Zealand.
