Ashley Spooner-Choi

Ashley Spooner-Choi is an experienced professional in program management and public funding, currently serving as the Public Funding and DRE Manager at Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco since September 2019. In this role, Ashley directs a portfolio of government funding for affordable homeownership developments, managing over $40 million in grants and loans, and successfully secured $36.7 million in public funding for various projects. Previous experience includes serving as the Staff Director at BAY ISLAND GYMNASTICS, where Ashley improved communication and staff management, and as Program Services Manager and Coordinator at Special Olympics Northern California, where significant grant funding increases were achieved and sporting events coordinated. Ashley's career also includes research roles at Kaiser Permanente, focusing on kidney disease and cardiovascular studies, and a position as a Sensory Lab Assistant at The Clorox Company. Ashley holds dual degrees in Psychology and Biology from UC San Diego and participated in a career development workshop at the Academy of Art University.
