John Tastor

John Tastor has extensive experience in both the insurance industry and community service. John served as a consultant and sales and marketing specialist at Gallagher for 42 years, following a decade at McNamara & Associates as an area executive vice president and partner. After retiring in 2022, John has been actively involved in community work, serving as a regular volunteer in construction for Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco since 2019 and as a board member for the Housing Leadership Council of San Mateo County since 2016. John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of San Francisco, earned between 1964 and 1968.
