Carrie Rathmann has over 25 years of work experience, starting in 1994 as a Teacher-Special Educator for Baltimore City Public Schools. Carrie taught multiple subjects and grade levels in both self-contained and single-discipline settings, and also served as a testing coordinator and out of school time program manager. From 2000 to 2003, they worked as a Special Education Teacher at Kennedy Krieger Middle School, teaching students diagnosed with emotional disabilities. Carrie developed individual educational plans and managed additional support services during school time. From 2005 to 2008, they worked as an Assistant Director at PHILADELPHIA READS, and from 2008 to 2013, they served as the Executive Director of Rebuilding Together Philadelphia, where they directed and managed all areas of program, management, and fund development. Since 2013, they have been working as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia Inc.
Carrie Rathmann has a diverse education history. Carrie began their educational journey in 1990 at the University of Maryland, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. Carrie successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 1994.
Continuing their pursuit of knowledge, Carrie Rathmann enrolled at The Johns Hopkins University in 1998. During their time at the university, they focused on Special Education and earned a Master of Science degree, which they completed in 2000.
In 2003, Carrie Rathmann transferred to the University of Baltimore to further expand their expertise. Carrie embarked on a Master of Arts program in Publication Design, with a specialization in hypermedia. Their studies at the university lasted until 2005.
Building upon their extensive educational background, Carrie Rathmann engaged in further professional development at La Salle University. From 2007 to 2013, they enrolled in an ongoing professional development program focused on Non-Profit and Financial Management.
Throughout their educational journey, Carrie Rathmann has exhibited a commitment to broadening their knowledge in various fields, including Elementary Education, Special Education, Publication Design, hypermedia, and Non-Profit and Financial Management.
