Emma Kate Joyce is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, community service, and construction supervision. Currently serving as a Site Supervisor in Training at All Hands and Hearts, Emma leads volunteer teams in rebuilding houses damaged by Hurricane Ida. Prior experience includes teaching English as a Second Language to public school children in Vietnam, where Emma designed and implemented engaging lesson plans. At the English Training Center, Emma further developed innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning. Previous roles at NEST Philadelphia involved teaching preschool children and leading summer camp activities. Emma's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology and Spanish from Temple University, complemented by research experience in communication sciences. Emma also fostered community among university residents as a Resident Assistant, particularly within a diverse living-learning environment.
