David Bucci has extensive experience in finance and operations, currently serving as Finance & Operations Director at Hachette Australia Books from September 2023 to May 2024. Prior to this role, David held various leadership positions, including Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Sheldon from November 2021 to July 2023, and Chief Financial Officer at Renascent from January 2020 to November 2021. David's earlier experience includes a role as Strategy & Commercial Manager at Hilti Australia from May 2016 to December 2019, where responsibilities encompassed strategy formulation, risk management, and contract negotiations, as well as an acting position as Head of Finance. David's career began with a role at BDO in Australia as a Senior Manager in Advisory from September 2012 to April 2016, providing insights to senior executives and financial institutions. Educational qualifications include a degree in Restructuring Law from Queensland University of Technology and membership with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
