Kate Taperell is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in public relations and media management. Currently serving as Communications Manager at Hachette Australia Books since August 2021, Kate previously held key roles including Public Relations Communications Specialist and Staff Communications & Engagement Advisor at Sydney Children's Hospitals Network from August 2017 to August 2021. Kate's expertise encompasses planning and managing high-profile media campaigns across various sectors, social media management, copywriting, content production, and database management. With a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Deakin University and a background in English Language and Literature from the University of Sydney, Kate has also held positions at DMCPRMedia, Penguin Random House Australia, and other notable organizations. Furthermore, Kate holds a Certificate IV in Makeup from the Sydney College of Makeup Art.
