Mark Choate

Mark Choate is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in solution architecture and software engineering. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Solution Architecture and Quality Control at Hachette Book Group, Mark leads a team of architects and quality assurance professionals in implementing complex data solutions utilizing various technologies including AWS, Azure, and Oracle. Previous roles at Hachette include Application Architect and Director of Software Engineering, where Mark established architectural practices and improved development processes. Mark has also contributed to the tech education space as an adjunct professor and co-founded a consulting firm focused on interactive content development. Mark holds an MBA from Duke University and a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
