Sam Liu is an accomplished engineer and community contributor currently working at Hack Club since August 2022, where contributions include authoring Sprig workshops and organizing AngelHacks Toronto. As a software member on Team 7476 at FIRST Robotics Canada, Sam earned a Dean’s list semi-finalist nomination and taught software skills to junior team members. In addition to technical roles, Sam serves as an ambassador for Shad Canada, sharing experiences to inspire future problem-solvers, and participated as a fellow in a STEAM and Entrepreneurship program in July 2023. Interning at Nokia in summer 2024, Sam also organized significant hackathons such as Apocalypse and AngelHacks, engaging hundreds of participants across North America. In a leadership capacity, Sam was the VP of Technology at Mood Jelly, where work focused on developing a company Shopify site. Sam is currently pursuing studies at Earl of March Secondary School, expecting to graduate in 2025.
