Eric Thibault has over 7 years of experience in engineering and design. Eric has worked for Sanctuary AI since 2023 as a Senior Design Engineer, Tesla from 2016-2023 as a Senior Design Engineer - Mechanical Drive Systems and Design Engineer - Mechanical Drive Systems, Westcoast Cylinders Inc from 2014-2016 as a Mechanical Design Engineer, Formula UBC SAE Racing Team from 2012-2013 as a Mechatronics and Engine Management Lead, and Confirmed Automation Systems Inc. from 2013 as an Integration Engineer Co-op.

Eric Thibault obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering with a Mechatronics Option from The University of British Columbia in 2014. In June of the same year, they became an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certified by the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC (APEGBC).
