Priyanka Jakka

Priyanka Jakka is currently an SDE Intern at Amazon since May 2024 and serves as a Student Researcher for Promoting Undergraduate Research in Engineering (PURE) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In addition, Priyanka is the Technical Lead for Hack4Impact, a position held since September 2022. Previous experience includes a Software Engineer Internship at Cyral in mid-2023 and a Voice Developer Internship at Alan AI in 2021. Priyanka began research in 2020 with the Aspiring Scholars Directed Research Program, focusing on crime data analysis using Python and machine learning. Priyanka is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, expected to graduate in May 2026.
