Thomas Nord

Thomas Nord has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Thomas is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Hackberry since September 2019. Prior to this, they worked as the Business Director at Solita Scandinavia from December 2018 to June 2019.

Thomas also held various positions at Knowit, starting as a Business Intelligence Consultant in January 2008 and progressing to Consultant Manager and Vice President (CEO) of Knowit Decision Helikopter AB. In these roles, they managed a team of consultants and was responsible for all aspects of BI / DW / Analytics projects. Thomas worked at Knowit from June 2011 to May 2018.

Before their tenure at Knowit, Thomas was a Partner & Business Intelligence Consultant at Helikopter Systemutveckling from January 2005 to January 2008, where they primarily focused on Cognos and was a member of the management group.

Thomas began their career as a Systems Analyst at Anritsu Ltd from July 1999 to March 2002. Thomas then worked as a Pre-sales Consultant at CorVu from July 2003 to December 2004. Thomas also gained valuable experience as a Consultant at EDS from January 1997 to July 1999, where they were involved in their Systems Engineer Development Program and worked with Progress DBA and Mfg/Pro.

Thomas Nord obtained a Master of Science degree in Engineering from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Thomas also holds a certification as an IBM Certified Solution Expert - Cognos, although the specific details about the month and year of its attainment are not provided.
