Laurie Mercer

Laurie Mercer is a seasoned professional in the field of cybersecurity with extensive experience across multiple roles and organizations. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Solutions Engineering at HackerOne since October 2017, Laurie leads teams in EMEA and APAC, focusing on vulnerability elimination and proactive security program implementation. Previous positions include Senior Solution Architect at Veracode, where Laurie contributed to cloud-based application security testing, and Security Consultant at Context Information Security, specializing in penetration testing and vulnerability assessments. Early career experience includes IT consultancy at Logica and teaching Western culture at Suzhou Normal University. Laurie holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of East Anglia and is a certified CREST Registered Tester.
