Spencer Chin

Spencer Chin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sales engineering and consulting. Currently serving as the Director of Sales Engineering for the Americas at HackerOne since March 2021, Spencer previously held roles of increasing responsibility within the company, where notable achievements included expanding sales engineering teams and developing go-to-market strategies for various HackerOne products. Before joining HackerOne, Spencer was a Sales Engineering Manager at Sumo Logic, where significant contributions included mentoring a team of sales engineers and driving process improvements. Spencer's earlier career spanned various consulting roles at Deloitte, where responsibilities included functional design for public sector projects and defect management in the banking industry, alongside technical roles at companies such as Cisco and iCracked. Spencer holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
