Laura Nelson

Laura Nelson is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader, currently serving as Managing Director and Co-Founder of HF.Capital, a company resembling Stripe for stock trading, since January 2019. In addition to this role, Laura is the Chief Marketing Officer and Co-Founder of Hackers/Founders, which has grown into one of the largest global communities for technology founders, engaging over 350,000 individuals through numerous events. As a member of the Santander X 100 community, Laura is dedicated to supporting outstanding startups and scaleups. Additionally, Laura contributes to the SME Finance Forum, managed by the International Finance Corporation, enhancing access to finance for small and medium businesses. Laura holds a board position on the Executive Committee of Global EIR and has previously worked at Microsoft, where Laura contributed to BizSpark Labs and organized various startup-centric events.
