Mike Janas

Mike Janas has extensive work experience, starting as an intern at Architecture Magazine and SKB Architecture & Design in 1994. Mike worked as an architect at Lehman-Smithz+McLeish and Envision Design before becoming a project architect at Shalom Baranes Associates and LPA in 2004 and 2005, respectively. From 2006 to 2021, they worked as a Senior Associate, Project Architect at Gensler. In 2021, they moved to JERDE as an Associate, Sr. Project Manager until they were promoted to their current role as Senior Project Manager, Architecture at Hackman Capital Partners, LLC in 2022.

Mike Janas has a Certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management from Cornell University, which they obtained in 2020. Mike also has a Bachelor of Architecture from The Catholic University of America, which they earned from 1997 to 1998. Before that, from 1993 to 1997, they completed their high school diploma at Elyria Catholic High School.
