Hadar
Rabbi Devin Maimon Villarreal is an experienced educator and program manager, currently serving as the Pedagogy of Partnership Senior Coach and Program Manager at Hadar since August 2021, and as an Educational Consultant for Thrive Educational Services since July 2019. Previously, Rabbi Villarreal was a Judaic Studies Educator at de Toledo High School from August 2011 to June 2019 and served as an Educator/Mehanekh at Harkham Hillel Hebrew Academy from August 2009 to June 2011. Rabbi Villarreal holds a Private Semikha in Jewish Philosophy from The David Cardozo Academy and a Master of Arts in Teaching from American Jewish University, along with a Rabbinic Ordination from Yeshivat Chovevei Torah and a Bachelor of Arts in the Study of Religion from UCLA. Rabbi Villarreal's educational approach focuses on fostering independent learning and personal interpretation of classical texts among students.

Hadar
Founded in 2006, Hadar is an educational institution that empowers Jews to create and sustain vibrant, practicing, egalitarian communities of Torah learning, prayer, and service. Hadar offers year-long fellowship programs for Jews wanting to expand their knowledge of Torah. It teaches core Jewish values, Jewish ideas, and communal music. The institute also organizes short-term seminars for Jewish leaders of all backgrounds, from teachers and rabbis to Hillel professionals and lay people—all who want to make a difference in their communities. Through outstanding faculty, enthusiastic staff, individual donors, committed supporting foundations, and hundreds of alums, Hadar touches thousands of Jewish lives throughout the U.S. and Israel.
