Associate Division Director Education And Advocacy at Hadassah

Lauren Katz has had a diverse range of work experiences. Lauren started their career as a Sales Intern at Progressive Business Publications in 2005. In 2006, they interned at HUD as a Multifamily Asset Management Intern. In 2007, they served as a Communications Intern for Congressman Patrick Murphy and also worked as a Campus Coordinator for Democracy Matters. From 2008 to 2009, they served as a Communication Liaison for State Senator Williams at Senate of PA. Lauren then transitioned to working at Hadassah, first as a Program Coordinator from 2009 to 2013, then as a Policy Associate from 2013 to 2017, followed by Senior Policy Associate from 2017 to 2021, and finally as the Director of Grassroots Advocacy from 2021 to 2023. Most recently, they have taken on the role of Associate Division Director of Education and Advocacy at Hadassah.

Lauren Katz obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree from Brandeis University in 2008, majoring in Politics, Journalism, and French. In 2006, they also spent a semester studying French at the American University Center of Provence. Prior to that, Lauren completed their secondary education at Neshaminy High School from 2001 to 2004. Later on, they pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Public Policy Analysis from Baruch College, from 2014 to 2016.
