Alex O'Connor

Alex O'Connor is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the manufacturing sector. Currently serving as the Founding Engineering Leader at FaaSHadrian since September 2025, Alex previously held multiple leadership roles at Tesla from July 2019 to September 2025, including Sr. Manager of Manufacturing Engineering. Prior to Tesla, Alex worked at Boeing Research & Technology as an M&P Engineer from January 2013 to July 2019 and was a Research Engineer and Doctoral Candidate at the University of Washington from September 2010 to January 2013. Alex earned both a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington.
