Richard Yeo

Richard Yeo is an Engineering Manager at Teledyne Marine since April 2017, focusing on the development and integration of electronic sensors and controls for autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) systems. Previously, Richard worked at Modus Seabed Intervention Limited as an AUV specialist, supporting the Modus AUV fleet and collaborating with SAAB. Richard's experience includes roles as a radar, UAV, and remote sensing specialist at the Icelandic Meteorological Office, and providing AUV operations and consultancy through auvconsultants.com. Richard's extensive background in AUV technology began with consultancy and training for Teledyne Gavia, alongside work as a project specialist and technology manager at Hafmynd. Richard holds a PhD in Electronics and Computing from the University of Southampton and a BSc Hons in Electronics and Physics from the University of St Andrews.
