Kim Oppedal Solesvik started their career in 2010 as the Head of ANSA France for the Association of Norwegian Students Abroad. Kim then worked as a Summer Intern at Texas Instruments Norway AS in 2011, followed by Summer Internships at DNV KEMA Energy & Sustainability in 2012 and 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they participated in the Global Technical Trainee program at DNV GL, where they gained experience in various business units focusing on the Maritime and Oil and Gas industry. In 2015, they joined Capgemini Consulting as a Senior Consultant, working on projects in utilities, manufacturing, and oil and gas sectors. In 2016, they became a Member of the Board of Directors at the French-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce. Kim then joined DNB in 2017 as a Business Developer within digital innovation for the corporate banking division. Kim held various roles at DNB, including Senior Strategic Partnership Manager and Interim Head of Section. Currently, they are Head of Venture Investments at Hafslund, starting in 2021.
Kim Oppedal Solesvik completed a Master of Science degree in Sustainable Energy Technology at Delft University of Technology from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, Kim obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Materials, Devices, and Systems Engineering from Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Toulouse, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. Kim also completed their International Baccalaureate at Berg Videregående Skole from 2005 to 2007.
In addition, Kim has obtained several certifications: Introduction to Financial Accounting from Coursera in December 2019, Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera in June 2018, CTL.SC1x: Supply Chain Fundamentals from edX in April 2017, and the edX Verified Certificate for The Analytics Edge in July 2016.
