Michael Flieger

Michael Flieger has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and positions. Michael is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Hager Group, a position they have held since September 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Vice President of Product Marketing at Hager Group from September 2021 to August 2023.

Before joining Hager Group, Flieger worked at OSRAM, where they held several senior positions. Michael served as the Chief Executive Officer for the US & Canada from July 2019 to June 2021 and as the Chief Financial Officer for the Region Americas from July 2016 to June 2019. Additionally, they held the role of Global Head of Corporate Audit, Risk Management, and Internal Controls, Senior Vice President from July 2011 to June 2016. Before that, they served as the President Director and CEO of OSRAM Indonesia and Vice President from April 2009 to June 2011, and as the Financial Director of OSRAM Indonesia, Senior Manager from January 2007 to March 2009. Michael also worked as the Manager Regional Controlling APAC/MEA from January 2005 to December 2006 and as a Regional Controller from February 2003 to December 2004.

Flieger's career began at KPMG, where they worked as a Consultant from July 2001 to January 2003.

Michael Flieger obtained a University Degree in Business Administration - Dipl.-Kfm. from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg. Michael also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA from the European Business Management School in Swansea, Wales.
