Brad Grining

Brad Grining is an experienced, solution-driven finance and accounting professional with a successful record of extracting value from a company’s financial function. An effective strategic thinker and business partner, Brad excels in leadership, problem solving, and technical skills. He is knowledgeable and experienced in completing significant corporate transactions that require technical expertise, creating and training internal teams, engaging and managing outside professionals, and maintaining the professional fortitude to complete projects in a high stakes and fast-paced environment.

A Certified Professional Accountant, currently Brad is responsible for overseeing and providing leadership to the finance and accounting, technology, contracts, human resources, risk management, and proposal functions of the company. Additionally Brad develops and monitors the implementation of annual and long-term strategic plans; negotiates contracts with Hagerty’s clients and teaming partners; ensures compliance with contracts and federal, state, and local laws; and monitors the firm’s overall and project-specific performance metrics.

Earlier in his career Brad worked at Deloitte & Touche in Merger & Acquisitions and Audit & Attest Services, and most recently, at Kimball Hill Homes (KHH), one of the country’s largest privately owned homebuilders. At its peak, KHH generated annual revenue in excess of $1 billion, operated in 16 metropolitan markets, and delivered over 4,000 homes annually.

Brad is a magna cum laude graduate of Saint Louis University and lives in the Chicagoland area with his wife and two sons.
