Shawn S.

Shawn S. is an experienced professional with a robust background in emergency management and aviation. Currently serving as the Director of SPS Emergency Management at Saint Louis University since April 2012, Shawn also leads the SPS Aviation Management (Rotary Aircraft) Program with SecurePathways Consultants, LLC, while providing expertise as a maritime accident investigator and digital forensics legal witness. Active in incident management, Shawn holds the position of Planning Section Chief with the Missouri Region C Incident Support Team and works as a Senior Independent Contractor Consultant with Hagerty Consulting. Additional roles include serving in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary as an Incident Commander and Tactical Boating and Search and Rescue Instructor for the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators. Shawn’s academic achievements include pursuing a Ph.D. in Aviation at Saint Louis University and holding master's and bachelor's degrees from Washington University in St. Louis and Rockhurst University, respectively.
