Sam Coughenour

Sam Coughenour is an accomplished professional with diverse experience in management and coordination within the automotive and sports industries. Currently serving as Assistant Manager of Underwriting at Hagerty since June 2020, Sam contributes to operational excellence and member experience by coaching a team of Underwriters. Previously, Sam held roles at Hagerty that included Assistant Manager of the Member Service Center and Automotive Enthusiast Adviser II, focusing on member service and best practices. Prior to Hagerty, Sam excelled as Manager and Event Coordinator at Backcountry North, initiating successful sales strategies and customer engagement events. Sam possesses significant experience in soccer operations, having increased team numbers and revenues at the Chicago Fire Soccer Club, alongside early career roles in various customer-centric positions. Sam holds a Bachelor Degree in Film and Video from Columbia College Chicago.
