Hahn-Schickard
Kostas Mitsakakis has extensive experience in the fields of bioanalysis and immunoassays, currently serving as Group Leader for both the Immunoassays and International Business Development divisions at Hahn-Schickard since September 2012. Concurrently, Kostas Mitsakakis holds the position of Research and Development Project Manager at IMTEK - Department of Microsystems Engineering, University of Freiburg, where involvement includes the DiscoGnosis project, aimed at developing a point-of-care platform for infectious disease diagnosis. Prior experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow through the Humboldt Fellowship and as an Assistant Meteorologist with the Hellenic Air Force. Educational qualifications comprise a Ph.D. in Biosensors' Technology from the University of Crete, a Master’s in Nanoscience & Nanotechnology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from the University of Crete.
