James (Wai Keong) Choo

James (Wai Keong) Choo has a diverse work experience spanning from 2013 to the present. James (Wai Keong) started their career at Thong Fatt Enterprise as an Assistant, where they worked on arranging schedules for trucks and cranes and provided support to the accounting department.

In 2016, James worked at National Cheng Kung University as a Student Ambassador, where they acted as a team leader for a group of six student ambassadors. Their responsibilities included contacting prospective students and coordinating the university's outreach program.

From 2017 to 2018, James worked as a Laboratory Intern at the Reacting Flow Laboratory. Here, they designed a magnetic-driven pump, derived a mathematical model, and analyzed interior flow conditions through CFD simulations.

In 2018, James joined Cranfield University Team A as a Junior Application Developer, where they gained experience in application development.

In 2018, James also worked at the Unmanned & Intelligent Systems Society at Cranfield University as an AI & Computer Vision Specialist. Here, they led a group of six individuals in designing a vision system for reconnaissance with a high level of autonomous systems' architecture. Their work involved modifying, training, and testing state-of-the-art algorithms and neural networks for target object recognition and identification.

From 2019 to 2021, James worked at AgriData Innovations as a Software & Robotics Engineer, where they focused on developing software and robotics solutions.

Most recently, James joined HAI ROBOTICS in 2022 as a System & Project Engineer.

James (Wai Keong) Choo began their education at INTI International University & Colleges in 2012, where they pursued A levels in Science. James (Wai Keong) completed this program in 2013. Following that, they enrolled at National Cheng Kung University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, which they completed in 2018.

In 2018, James continued their education at Cranfield University, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Autonomous Vehicle System and Dynamics Control. James (Wai Keong) completed this program in 2019.

In addition to their formal education, James also obtained a certification as an Open Water Diver from PADI in April 2017.
