Adnan A.

Adnan A. has a diverse and extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Adnan started their career in 2001 at Northrop Grumman, where they designed space mechanisms and worked as a Lead Mechanical Engineer on the fiber-optic gyroscope project. In 2005, they joined CONMED Corporation as a Principal Mechanical Engineer, leading projects for endoscopic surgical equipment. Adnan later became the Mechanical Engineering Manager, overseeing a team of engineers and managing product line development. In 2013, Adnan worked at Raytheon as a Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer.

In 2014, Adnan co-founded AI Biomed, a medical device startup. As the VP of Product Development, they led the entire product development process and obtained FDA approval for the PTeye device. Adnan also drafted a compliant quality management system and filed patents for the company's technologies. After leaving AI Biomed in 2020, Adnan joined Medtronic as the Director of Engineering, responsible for managing R&D projects in the fluorescence segment.

Before their current position at Medtronic, Adnan worked at HAI Solutions as the Chief Operating Officer. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated their expertise in multidisciplinary engineering disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, software, and optical engineering. Adnan's experience spans from concept development and design to production, regulatory approvals, and quality management.

Adnan A. attended UC Santa Barbara from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2010, they also earned a Professional Engineer (PE) certification in Mechanical Engineering from the State of California.
