Jan-Friso Blacquière

Jan-Friso Blacquière is the current General Manager of Europe at Hailo. Prior to this, they were Sr. Director – Segment Head PLS at ams Sensors Germany from June 2019 to November 2020. Before that, they were Sr. Director EMEA Automotive at NXP Semiconductors from January 2004 to May 2019, where they were responsible for leading the EMEA Automotive Sales team and overall sales and business creation results. Prior to that, they were a Research Scientist at Philips Research from June 1998 to May 2004, where they focused on research on (optical) storage and was involved in DVD+RW and Blu-ray standards. Jan-Friso Blacquière has 16 US patents and 50+ patents filed.

Jan-Friso Blacquière earned their Master’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Twente.

Jan-Friso Blacquière reports to Orr Danon, CEO. They are on a team with Liran Bar - VP, Business Development, Mark Grobman - CTO, ML, and Hiro Uchida - President of Hailo Japan.
