Pedro Lau

Pedro Lau, CAIA, serves as the Head of Fixed Income Trading at Haitong Bank since January 2013, following a position in EM Fixed Income Trading at Banif Investment Banking from January 2005 to December 2012. Earlier in the career, Pedro Lau worked as a FI Trader and FI Research Analyst at Banco Finantia from 2000 to 2004. Academic achievements include completing CAIA Level I and Level II in Alternative Investments through the CAIA Association, and earning an MSc in Finance from City St George’s, University of London, along with a Lic in Economics from Universidade de Coimbra, where post-graduate studies in Finance were also completed. Additionally, Pedro Lau has attended the University of Galway.
