Kevin Yong

Kevin Yong has over 15 years of work experience in the IT industry. Kevin is currently the Head of Information Technology at Haka House Hostels since December 2022. Prior to that, they served as an IT Manager at Park Hyatt Auckland from April 2019 to December 2022. Kevin also worked as a Customer Service Manager and IT Specialist at Brantas International Technology Ltd from October 2016 to April 2019, and as an IT Helpdesk Agent and IT Support Specialist at RHB Bank from April 2007 to June 2008. Earlier in their career, they worked as an IT Careline Agent at FCS Computer Systems from August 2006 to February 2007.

Kevin Yong completed a Certificate of Proficiency in Computer Network Principles from Auckland University of Technology in 2016. Kevin also holds a BSc. (Hons) Business in Computing degree from Northumbria University and University College Sedaya International (UCSI), which they obtained between 2004 and 2006. Prior to that, they earned a Diploma in Information Technology from HELP International College of Technology (HICT) in 2004. Kevin'searliest education was at SMJK YuHua from 1995 to 2000, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned. In addition to their formal education, Kevin has obtained various certifications, including one in Employee Experience from LinkedIn in 2020, a Japanese Language Lvl 1 and 2 certification from INTER-CULTURAL LANGUAGE SCHOOL in 2007, and multiple certificates related to IT and personal development dating back to 1998.
