Päivi Kaarina Laajanen

Päivi Kaarina Laajanen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in travel media and content creation. As the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Matkasto Travel Media since January 2012, Päivi oversees the Matkasto travel magazine and the Mangostania travel blog. In addition to these roles, Päivi serves as a Travel Blogger at Mangostania and is the Creative Director and founding partner of the Finnish technology startup Hakema since March 2011. With a background in freelance copy editing and proofreading since 2001, Päivi specializes in Finnish language services and has contributed numerous travel articles and photographs to Finnish magazines. Previous positions include Content Editor at Republic of Communications and Copywriter at Publicis. Päivi holds educational qualifications from the University of Helsinki and Etelä-Tapiolan lukio.
