Rachel Yeomans

Rachel Yeomans is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Director of Communications at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change since March 2020, where impactful global communications strategies are developed to support the Institute's objectives. Prior to this role, Rachel held the position of Head of News and Campaigns at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy from December 2015 to March 2020, leading a team of communicators in media handling and campaign strategies. Earlier in Rachel’s career, roles included Chief Press Officer at 10 Downing Street and Assistant Director at The Home Office, as well as Press Officer at the UK Ministry of Defence.
