Christiaan van Heest has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Christiaan started their career as a Creative Director at Visual Services Benelux in 1986, where they were responsible for creating top-quality business presentations and illustrations for prominent companies in the Netherlands. In 1998, they joined Tornado Insider, where they served as an Art Director and was responsible for the overall look and feel of the company, including designing the magazine, events, advertisements, covers, illustrations, and storyboards.

In 2003, they joined CQMX as an Art Director, where they designed events for the mobile communication industry. Christiaan then worked as an Art Director at GPXS Services AG from 2007 to 2014, where they supported BlackBerry in Europe and the US and worked closely with the Chairman/CEO and the Board of Directors.

Christiaan also worked as an Art Director for Professional Tester Magazine from 2008 to 2014, where they created cover illustrations and inside illustrations for the bi-monthly magazine. From 2009 to 2017, they served as an Art Director at PROLIN Inc., working on the Smart Suite 10 ITSM solution.

Christiaan was a Senior Art Director at Interchange Group from 2016 to 2018, where they collaborated with customers, research, and technology partners to identify the needs of CIOs and CEOs and introduce mission-critical software and hardware products.

Currently, Christiaan is working as a Senior Art Director at HAL24K since 2018. Throughout their career, they have showcased their creativity and artistic skills in various roles, ranging from artist painter in the contemporary art sector to designing digital works, mixed media, and illustrations.

Christiaan van Heest's education history begins in 1971, when they attended Muziekschool Mariakerke for an unspecified field of study. In 1972, they enrolled at Atheneum Voskenslaan for an unknown degree and field of study. From 1976 to 1979, they attended Stedelijk Secundair Kunst Instituut, focusing on Fine Art. In 1979, they joined KASK (Koninklijke Akademie voor Schone Kunsten) and graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art Painting. In 1983-1984, they pursued further education at HOGENT, specializing in Kunst onderwijs, and obtained a Getuigschrift Pedagogische Bekwaamheid.
