Marta S. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Marta began their career as a Colaboradora de eventos no Campo Pequeno at SRUCP - Sociedade, where they organized events, interacted with clients, and promoted business rules and best practices. Following this role, they joined Philips as an Intern Analyst, gaining valuable experience in analysis. Marta then transitioned to a consulting role at Leadership Business Consulting, where they worked as a Consultant, providing strategic guidance to clients. Marta later joined MOVE ONG as a Fellow, contributing to their mission. Marta's experience in the non-profit sector continued at TechnoServe, where they held various positions, including Volunteer Consultant, Associate Grants Manager, Financial Management Consultant, and Program Manager. Their responsibilities included financial management and grants management. Most recently, Marta joined Hala Systems, Inc. as a Finance & Grants Manager, and later advanced to the position of Senior Finance & Grants Manager. Throughout their career, Marta has demonstrated their expertise in finance, grants management, and strategic consulting.

Marta S. pursued their education in finance and economics. Marta started their academic journey in 2007 at Universidade Nova de Lisboa where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics in 2011. In 2009, they participated in the Erasmus program at the University of Lausanne - UNIL, focusing on Economics. Their thirst for knowledge led their to Tilburg University in 2011, where they completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Finance in 2012.
