Michael Ploof

Michael Ploof has worked in a variety of engineering roles since 2005. Michael began their career as a Design Engineer Co-op at Signal Medical Corporation in 2005, and then moved to Quantum Signal, LLC in 2009 as a Mechanical Engineer. In 2013, they became a Student Teacher at Ypsilanti Community Schools: STEMM Academy, and then in 2014 they were hired as a Mechanical / Electrical / Software Engineer at Dynamic Perception, LLC. In 2017, they took on a role as an Embedded Software Engineer at Potential Labs, and then in 2018 they became the Owner of TinkerTech. Most recently, in 2021, they were hired as an Embedded Hardware Engineer at Hala Systems, Inc.

Michael Ploof obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University in 2008. Michael then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan, which they completed in 2010. In 2013, they completed graduate coursework in Secondary Education and Teaching at Eastern Michigan University.
